For over 15 years, Dynamic Martial Arts has proudly hosted the Sioux Falls Open, bringing together martial artists from across the region. This tournament has welcomed competitors from a wide range of styles, including Taekwondo, Karate, Jujitsu, Judo, Kung Fu, Capoeira, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kendo, American Kickboxing, and many others. The event has grown into one of the largest and most diverse open martial arts tournaments in the region.

Important Notes & Changes for 2026:
If you have any questions regarding the tournament, divisions, rules, or registration process, please contact Joe Herreman, Head Instructor of DMA of Sioux Falls. We look forward to seeing you on the mat and continuing the tradition of martial arts excellence and sportsmanship in Sioux Falls.
- Pre-registration is required. There will be no day-of registration.
- All registration will be handled digitally: We will be using the smoothcomp application to streamline check-in, scheduling, and scoring. We recommend downloading the app prior to the tournament.
- Live brackets and real-time updates: will be available to all competitors and coaches.
- New ring format: Each age group will complete all of their events (Forms, Sparring, Grappling, etc.) in the same ring before moving to the next group. This will help the tournament run more efficiently and allow younger competitors to finish earlier in the day.
